How do I enjoy living in Lisbon so far?

Lisbon is a fantastic city! There are many things I like about this city. It’s lively, crowded, bustling, and super entertaining.
Since the first day I came, there have always been something for me to do. In fact, thanks to ESN Lisboa and our school, almost every day there is an activity for me to attend. It could be a relaxing walking tour, or a crazy club event, or just a random dinner with friends. So the question is not whether there are events to go or not, but whether I would like to go or not!
Lisbon leaves me an impression that it is a restless, sleepless city where people study, work and play the whole time, day after day. Here students go to open-air standing-bar so-called botellon after midnight, then move on to night clubs, and stayed there until morning. Welcome to Portugal!
A friend joked me every time she went to night events, she spent the whole night in the bars and moved directly to school the next day! I did believe it was a joke. It turns out there is a lot of truth in it.
I myself have had a couple of days when I spend the night out on the street and come back home at 5-6 am in the morning. It was fun. The problem is that I wake up at 2-3 pm the next day, and sometimes have a hangover if I drink a bit too much the day before (Yes I’m a terrible drinker).
Just like a dream, you wake up and face reality. My reality is that there are quizzes next week, so I’d better sit down for a while and start to learn something. I realized I haven’t studied a lot since I came to Lisbon. My excuse would be there are many distractions around, aren’t there? Anyway time to hit the books I guess.
